What "DMW-licensed" means — and how to check any agency.
Prime Search is licensed by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW-027-LB-11182024). Here is why that matters and how you can verify any agency yourself.
🚨 Nobody will ask you money to get interview — read the scam warning →What the licence means
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) licenses recruitment agencies for overseas employment. A licensed agency is registered, inspected and accountable under Philippine law — job orders are verified, employers are vetted, and workers are processed through the official system with contracts, insurance and pre-departure orientation. Unlicensed "recruiters" have none of this.
Why it protects you
- Verified job orders from real, vetted employers
- Employment contracts reviewed under DMW rules
- Official processing — OEC, insurance, PDOS
- A registered address and licence number you can hold the agency to
How to check any agency
Ask for the licence number and check it against the DMW's official list of licensed agencies. Look for a registered office address. Be suspicious of anyone recruiting only through personal profiles or messaging groups, or asking for payment to "process" you.
