Italy has welcomed Filipino workers for decades and has a large, established Filipino community. Today the strongest demand comes from industry: shipyards, steel structures, construction sites and hospitality. How the process works
Apply as the job post instructs. Interviews and trade tests take place in the Philippines — for welders this means a practical welding test to the employer's standard. The employer selects. We handle the documentation pathway with you: medical, visa, DMW, pre-departure orientation. Plan for a few months between selection and departure.
Good to know
Italian employers value practical skill above everything — bring photos and videos of your work to the interview. Basic Italian is a big advantage in daily life, but for most industrial roles English plus a willingness to learn is enough to start.
